Sunday 27 June 2010 saw the Red Rose Karate Club hosting a training session and grading under the watchful eye of Sensei Billy Higgins 7^th Dan, one of the senior instructors of the Karate Union of Great Britain.

The training session before the grading included students coming from Kendal, Windermere, Preston and St Annes as well as from the other local Karate Dojos.  The training session was extremely fast paced with Sensei Higgins providing his usual innovative tuition.

Following a short break, the grading commenced around 12.30pm with around 31 students attempting their grading, with the final outcome resulting in a 100% pass rate.
